R.I.P. J.D. Salinger

The little girl on the plane
Who turned her doll's head around
To look at me

-J.D. Salinger
Franny and Zooey

a long limbed willow
reaching out
to touch my shoulder

tulips in their vase
going every which way
-sunday morning

northern wind-
a fallen bird's nest
unsettles the soul

For Molly

little dew drop
the sun came
too soon

Our prayers are with you.

joyous-
kwan yin greets
the morning snow

snowy eagle-
the river banks lined
with red willow
